How to Smoothen Cracked Heels

To smoothen cracked or fissured heals, get a hot tub, fill it with hot water ( as hot as you can comfortably relax your feet in it). Sit on a chair with your legs in the tub. Keep your legs dipped for five to ten minutes before towel drying them. This procedure should moisturize your hard cracked skin and soften it.

After your skin softens, get a foot filer (stone made preferred) and gently file your heels to get rid of dead skin.

Thereafter, get two table spoons of honey, mix it well with one table spoon of lemon juice and one table spoon of olive oil to get an ointment. Apply this ointment to your heels generously reaching out all affected areas. Leave in on and Relax for 15-20 minutes after application, then wash it off with warm water.

Additonally, before going to bed, apply a mixture of vaseline and honey to affected areas on a regular basis.

Finally, do not work or walk bare footed! Cover your heels as much as you possibly can without compromising hygiene!
